Safety Services Newfoundland Labrador (SSNL) is offering a hands-on workshop series across the province where attendees will learn about emergency management planning and effective communication in crisis situations.

This workshop series is an expansion of the crisis communication workshop held in St. John's on December 4, 2013, which generated overwhelming positive feedback from its almost 50 participants.

SSNL has utilized feedback from this initial workshop to streamline and improve its current series.

The workshop will contain multiple exercise components where attendees will have the opportunity to learn hands-on how to effectively communicate during a time of organizational or public crisis.

To express interest in attending, or to request more details about the workshop, please email and include your name, location, and organization.

For updates regarding the agenda, additional speakers, and location are still being finalized but will be continuously updated leading up to the event at

The workshop is slated for June 3 in Corner Brook.
