Premier Tom Marshall is scheduled to make a health-care announcement in Corner Brook on Friday.

The premier’s office confirmed for The Western Star that the announcement is related to the new regional hospital that will be located in the city.

The announcement will take place at 10 a.m. at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

Joining Marshall for the announcement will be Health Minister Paul Davis, Vaughn Granter, parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Health and Community Services and MHA for Humber West, and representatives from Western Health.

    Why wouldnt Marshall not have good news about the new Hospitial he is just sweetening the pot for Frank Coleman who we all know is not going to be Premier for long Blahhhh.

    He can try and sell Colemen all he likes. They, the PC's are done in the next general election. The only thing in question at this point is how bad it will be for them.

    Dear Ben. If you have lived in any part of western NL you would know what an great representative of our region Tom Marshall has been. This has nothing to do with anything other than his hard work. Some people are negative by nature. Hope you never need access to a hospital if you think it's about politics.
