Missing travellers believed to be in this area

Richard and Denise Lemire

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is assisting the Vancouver Police Department in locating a couple from that area who are travelling in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Richard and Denise Lemire arrived in the province on May 31 and rented a vehicle. They were last heard from on June 1.

Their family has made several attempts to contact the couple, but have been unsuccessful.

The couple is travelling by car and is supposed to make stops in the areas of Gros Morne National Park and St. Anthony.

Richard Lemire, 64, is described as being 5’8”, 215 pounds with blue eyes and grey hair. Denise Lemire, 62, is described as being 5’3”, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

It is unknown what they were wearing at the time they were last heard from.

Anyone who comes in contact with the couple is asked to advise them to contact their family or the RNC at 709-729-8000.

    I was in gander today at craft shop & I think I saw this woman. She said " she was staying with her aunt in Gander Bay". She was talking to girl at the craft shop. The shop is across the road from Tim Horton & the Irving. I hope this help find them.
