Environment Canada says rain is in the forecast for much of western Newfoundland on Wednesday.
The agency predicts periods of rain beginning early this morning with about 10-15 mm expected to fall with fog patches developing near noon.
Winds are expected to be from the southwest 20 km/h and gusting to 40 km/h but becoming lighter near noon.
The temperature is expected to remain steady near 15 C.
For Wednesday night, periods of rain are expected to end this evening, then the skies will become cloudy with around 2 mm of rainfall with a low of 11 C.
