City’s flushing program may affect water pressure and colour

The City of Corner Brook started its flushing program on Tuesday and is advising residents and businesses in certain areas of the city that they may experience water pressure fluctuation and discoloration of water for the next two weeks.

The areas affected include: Confederation Drive and all side roads; Murphy Square;    Maple Valley Road and all side roads; West Valley Road, numbers 140 to 169 and all side roads; Highland Avenue; University Drive; Canada Games Drive; Grenfell Drive; Elizabeth Street, from the intersection of Union Street to the intersection of Windsor Street, including all side roads; and Wheeler’s Road.
