Trout River man missing since Sunday

The RCMP are looking for a Trout River resident who’s reportedly been missing since Sunday.

Albert Brake, 47, was last seen swimming near the beach at Trout River on the evening of July 20, but has not been seen or accounted for since that time. Brake was reported missing late Tuesday morning.

Police have partnered with the Coast Guard, Parks Canada and Bonne Bay Ground Search and Rescue team in efforts to locate Brake. The matter is still under investigation.

Anyone with information on Brake’s whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP detachment in Rocky Harbour: 458-2222.
