A 19-year-old man from Corner Brook has been charged in connection with an investigation into a theft from a motor vehicle in the city that took place in late June.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has been investigating the alleged theft since it received the report June 27. The complaint was that an undisclosed amount of property had been taken from a vehicle in the Elizabeth Street area.
The man was arrested Tuesday of this week and charged with one count of possessing stolen property. He has been released from custody and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
