Hospital ground work

After a few years of no activity, some could be seen at the site of the proposed new regional hospital for Corner Brook on Wednesday. Heavy equipment was seen digging out a small mound of dirt and trucks were bringing it to another area of the site where it was dumped and used for fill. Two of three contracts, valued at just over $17 million, announced for the new regional hospital earlier this month will result in activity there this summer.

Construction has started once again. One dump truck and a digger. Ya, it could get really busy up there this summer. Thanks for that premier Marshall.
