Ontario man charged with impaired driving after rollover

A 68-year-old Cambridge, Ontario man was arrested and charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle rollover Wednesday afternoon in Lourdes.

Cpl. Richard Basha of the Bay St. George RCMP said police received a report of the accident at 2:45 p.m.

After attending and carrying out an investigation, the charge was laid against the driver.

He was held in cells at the Bay St. George detachment in Stephenville overnight and released from custody late Thursday morning with a future court date.

Basha said the man registered breath samples of more than twice the legal limit.
