Man, woman charged after Gillams Road disturbance
A man and a woman were both charged with offences after the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the Gillams Road area of Corner Brook approximately 9 a.m. Monday morning.
The 19-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault and breach of probation, while the 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault. Both residents of Corner Brook were released and given provincial court appearance dates in October.
RNC investigating alleged hit-and-run
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is conducting an investigation into an alleged hit-and-run reported Monday night.
According to police, the incident took pace on Union Street and was reported at around 9:30 p.m.
