It may start off sunny in much of western Newfoundland and stay that way along the southwestern coast today, but the forecast is calling for increased cloudiness in many areas.
In fact, from Gros Morne northward to St. Anthony, there is a chance of showers this afternoon.
Showers are also a possibility for much of western Newfoundland into the evening, with the exception of the Port aux Basques area, although the clearer skies there will begin to cloud over.
The temperatures will be in the 20 C to 22 C range, but it will be cooler to the north with the mercury expected to drop to as low as 11 C in the St. Anthony area this afternoon.
There should be a mix of sun and cloud for all parts of western Newfoundland Tuesday with temperatures ranging from 21 C to 23 C for most parts, but only getting up to around 14 C in the St. Anthony area.
