Jenine Kerrivan,
St. John’s

It’s not really disrupting my plans, it’s just that there’s not really anything exciting going on because it’s just too cold. I didn’t necessarily believe in the winter blues until this year. I literally had to kick myself in the butt to go to the gym and feel alive again.

It hasn’t really effected me but I just dread winter — I hate it. I don’t ski or snowmobile, I’m more of a sun and water person. It’s kind of discouraging to see so much snow still down.

Matthew Walsh,
Pasadena

I’m not much of a winter person so this definitely changes my plans. I usually start golfing in the middle of May but that’s probably not going to happen this year.

No it hasn’t effected my plans. Not at all. I’m an all-seasons person and weather is one of those things you can’t change. So I just live my life no matter what the weather is.

Todd Currie,
Steady Brook

It’s just a long, long winter. I drive a snowplow and it’s been cold and snowy this year. I just got laid off for the summer a week ago, which is later than usual, but I’ll be back.

After a long, snowy winter in western Newfoundland, spring will likely arrive later in the region than in the past several years.
