The society voted to wait until Trinity Western's legal matters have been resolved against Ontario and Nova Scotia, where bar associations have voted not to accept the grads.

It was announced with the release of the provincial budget a change of $140 a week in eligible grants for students of Memorial University of Newfoundland to a system of $100 a week in grants and $40 in loans.
