The Deer Lake Red Wings are this year's Newfoundland and Labrador Peewee H champs. The Red Wings beat the Bell Island Miners 7-3 in St. Anthony yesterday. The team consists of Darien Laite, Parker Corrigan, Mitchell Taylor, Sarah Gillard, Noah Burden, Jacob Martin, Joshua Shears, Cody Pittman, Joshua Osbourne, Kyle Pinksen Lucas Seaward, Kyle Campbell, Robin Major, Ian Colbourne, Daniel Laing, Jack Langdon, Charles Piccott, Joshua Carroll, Cameron Costello, Head Coach Robert Major, Assistant Coach Alvin Osbourne and Trainer Lloyd Pinksen. — Photo by Adam Randell/Northern Pen

Corner Brook Royals’ won silver at the provincial peewee B hockey tournament in Corner Brook Wednesday. Team members include, Danny Walsh, Will Keating, Alex Griffin, Ryan Murrin, Brent Eason, Kyle Brown, Michael White, Brady Parsons, Tyler Burton, Thomas Stewart, Lucas Vincent, Aaron Mercer, Jesse Hickey, Matthew Burden, Riley Simms, Mark Randell and Morgan Durnford, along with coaching staff, Dave Eason, Terry Brown, Bruce Keating and Terry Walsh. Missing was team manager Greg Mercer.
