Ms. Moose goes to Georgetown

A moose caused quite a commotion in the Georgetown Road area of Corner Brook on March 5, 2013. Conservation officers from the Department of Natural Resources were called to the scene to tranquilize the big animal and, with the assistance of some onlookers, loaded the moose up in a truck to be relocated back in the forest and safely away from the city. — Photos courtesy of Mike McCarthy and Kody Gardner
