Western Royals

In spite of a bit of a comeback for the visitors, the Western Royals dominated the third period and won the first game of the Western Senior Hockey League playoffs 7-4

The Flyers started off the third with two quick goals from Adam Ivany and Peter Campbell, quieting the hometown crowd briefly as it hinted at a comeback. But Royals forward Michael Hynes answered  the goals with one of his own, then three minutes later Justin Barbour added one of his own assisted by Darren Langdon.

Langdon would go on to finish the game with four assists.

With the win under the Royal’s belt, the team is one up in the semi-finals. They play the Flyers again Sunday at the Hodder Memorial Recreation Facility.
