CORNER BROOK Steve Cave kicked a rouge and it held up as the only scoring play as the Winmar Raiders edged the Golden Gophers 1-0 on the gridiron Sunday.
Interceptions in this Coors Light Touch Football League contest were plentiful with Raiders Quarterback Bill Avery tossing three and Gophers QB Steve Hyne charged with two at the Wellington Street Sports Complex.

Falcons 12, Marine Lounge 8
Dave Power threw two touchdown passes and added two interceptions to lead the charge for the Falcons.
Riley Cook and Mark Hillier hauled in the touchdown passes while Cook also had an interception for the winners.
Marine Lounge QB Steve Colford, who also had an interception, connected with Rob Wheeler for a touchdown and followed it up with a two-point conversion to Doug Miller.
Western College Jets 26, Pasadena Pirates 6
Jets QB Timmy Caines threw two touchdown passes and had one interception, while Cameron Dohaney, sharing the QB duties, threw a touchdown pass and had one interception in the victory.
Glen Aucoin recorded two sacks on Pirates QB Greg Whalen.
Whalen connected with Steve Kelly on the lone touchdown for the Pasadena entry, while Rob George and Mark Gillis were on the receiving end of interceptions thrown by the Jets quarterbacks.
