CORNER BROOK Greg Whalen threw four touchdown passes to lead the Pasadena Pirates to a 27-0 victory over Marine Lounge on the gridiron Sunday.
Whalen connected with Mark Gillis for two touchdowns, while Daniel Hearn and Greg Sharpe were recipients of the other touchdown passes from the Pirates quarterback at Wellington Street Sports Complex.
Sharpe recorded two sacks on Marine Lounge quarterback Steve Colford, who also threw an interception to Steve Gould of the Pirates.
Marine Lounge’s Rob Wheeler was on the receiving end of Whalen’s interception and Heather Colford sacked Whelan twice in one of three games played over the Thanksgiving Weekend.

Winmar Raiders 22, Falcons 0
Bill Avery threw one touchdown and one interception and Steve Cave rushed in a touchdown to push the Raiders atop the standings with a perfect 5-0 record at the half-way mark of the regular season schedule.
Bobby Cook picked up two touchdowns and a two-point convert, while Steve Bugden also pulled in a two-point convert.
Falcons’ quarterbacks Dave Power and Tyler Wells each threw an interception in the loss with Colin Lynch and Colin Dunphy of the Raiders on the receiving end.
Jeff Hall of the Raiders recorded a sack on Falcons quarterback Dave Power.
Golden Gophers 38, Western College Jets 6
Frank Humber was back in true form to throw five touchdown passes and two interceptions to lead the Gophers over the Stephenville entry, who will play host to Week 6 action Sunday in Stephenville.
Humber connected with Jay Warford for three TDs and Dean Barker for the other one. Barker also hauled in a touchdown pass from Steve Hynes and Hynes also pulled one in from Humber as well.
Greg Keats of the Jets picked off a pass from Gophers QB Humber and returned it the distance for the team’s lone score of the game.
John Finn recorded two sacks on Humber, while Steve Perry had an interception for the Stephenville entry.
Jets quarterback Josh White threw two interceptions and Timmy Caines was charge with one interception. Steve Hynes was on the receiving end of two picks, while Rob Myrden had one.
