CORNER BROOK  Cyril Walsh scored two goals Thursday night as Marble Zip Tours defeated West 96 by a 6-3 count in action from the Corner Brook Molson Recreational Hockey League at the Kinsmen Arena II.

Jamie Brake, Brian White, Jamie O’Connell and Gerald Bursey also lit the lamp in the winning effort.

Kristian Kavli, Mike Simms and Kirby Gillingham scored in the loss.

Craig McCarthy was the winning netminder over Mike Bavis.

Elsewhere, Mitchell Goodyear and Rod Wiseman each buried a pair as the Mooseracks took down Meineke 5-1. Stuart McNeil added a single marker.

Ivan Blanchard struck in the loss.

In other action, Paul Bennett (3),  Rod Dyke (2), Brad Lucas (2) Blair Rumbolt (2), Scott Roche and Chris Griffin did the damage as Western Mazda thumped Health and Performance Physio 11-4.

Chris Witten and Ashley Buckle responded in the defeat.

Chris Grant earned the goaltending win over Rob Roberts.
