Mark Gillis notched a pair of goals for the Mooseracks in Corner Brook Molson Recreational Hockey League action Thursday night in a 6-5 win over West 96.

Cory Chubbs, Jeff Mitchell, Chad Wilton and Rod Wiseman also lit the lamp for the victors.

Kristian Kavli (2), Robbie Greene, Kirby Gillingham and Corey Wight provided the offence for the 96ers.

Jeff Carey was the winning goaltender over Mike Bavis.

In other action, Marble Zip Tours and Health and Performance Physio tied 2-2.

Josh Ryan and Ashley Buckle scored for the physio crew.

The tour guide goals came from Scott Wayson and Brian White.

Craig McCarthy was in the net for the tour guides, while Rob Roberts tended goal for the physio crew.

Meanwhile, NAPA/Merry’s/Meineke edged Western Mazda 6-5.

Paul Foley scored a hat trick in the win, while Brian Clarke, Craig Jackson and Ivan Blanchard tallied single markers.

Rocky Bromley had two for the losing side, with Alan McDonald, Scott Roche and Colin Dunphy doing the rest.

Glen Porter outdueled Chris Grant in goal.
