A two-goal outing from Mark Gillis helped lift the Mooseracks to a 4-1 triumph over Western Mazda on Thursday night at the Kinsmen Arena II.

Stu MacNeil and Mike White also scored in the Corner Brook Molson Recreational Hockey League victory.

Brad Lucas provided the lone goal for the losing squad.

Jeff Carey backstopped the win over Chris Grant.

In other action, Eric Karn, Adam Tilley, Jamie White and Dennis Rashleigh stepped up on offence as Health and Performance Physio doubled up West 96 by a 4-2 score.

Mike Simms and Blair Billard responded in the loss.

Rob Roberts emerged victorious over Mike Bavis in the goaltending battle.

Elsewhere, Marble Zip Tours defeated Meineke/Merry’s/NAPA 4-2 thanks to goals from Jamie Brake, Gerald Bursey, Jamie Vatcher and Brad Penney.

Cory Perrier and Paul Foley lit the lamp for the muffler men.

Craig McCarthy was the winning goalie, with Dan Genest taking the defeat.
