Foley, Nadon net hat tricks as muffler men throttle 96ers

Paul Foley and Drew Nadon recorded stereo hat tricks Thursday night as Meineke/Merry’s/NAPA ran over West 96 by a 10-0 score.

Brandon Sparkes (2), Rob French and Riley Nadon also scored in the Corner Brook Molson Recreational Hockey League victory at the Kinsmen Arena II.

Dan Genest picked up the rare shutout for the victors, while Mike Bavis suffered the defeat in the other net.

In other action, Tim Budgell scored twice to help left Marble Zip Tours over Western Mazda 6-3.

Brian White, Craig Gardner, Jeff Murphy and Jamie Vatcher did the rest of the damage for the tour guides.

Brad Lucas was a one man gang for the car crew, lighting the lamp all three times.

Craig McCarthy outduelled Connor Cecilaws in goal.

Elsewhere, Health and Performance Physio eked out a 4-3 win against the Mooseracks thanks in part to a pair of goals from Adam Tilley.

Adam Buckle and Jamie White also struck for the physio club.

Jason Brake (2) and Mitch Quigley registered the goals for the Mooseracks.

Cecilaws earned the win in net over Jeff Carey.
