Jamie Brake picked up a pair of goals Thursday night as Marble Zip Tours downed Meineke/Merry’s/NAPA 3-1 in playoff action from the Corner Brook Molson Recreational Hockey League at the Kinsmen Arena II.

Brian White also scored for the victors.

Craig Jackson supplied the only goal for the losing side.

Craig McCarthy outdueled Glen Porter between the pipes.

Elsewhere, two goals from Adam Buckle helped power Health and Performance Physio to a 5-1 decision over the Mooseracks.

Ryan McMackin, Chris Whitten and Adam Tilley did the rest of the damage in the winning cause.

Chad Wilton was the lone marksman for the Mooseracks.

Rob Roberts was victorious in goal, with Jeff Carey suffering the defeat.

In other action, Scott Roche and Craig Peddle both scored twice as Western Mazda won a high-scoring affair over the West 96 Wildcats by a 6-4 count.

Paul Bennett and Chris Griffin also lit the lamp for the car crew.

Mike Simms (2), Lorne Payne and Kirby Gillingham put up the offence for the Wildcats.

Chris Grant picked up the win in net over Roberts.
