Cornect’s three-goal game key to victory

ST. GEORGE’S  Tyler Cornect notched a hat trick to lead Harvey Gale &  Son to a 6-4 victory over Central Service Station Sunday night.

Chris Dohaney shared the spotlight with two goals and three assists for the winners in the Bay St. George Men’s Ball Hockey League contest at St. George’s Stadium.

Gord Scott also scored for the winners.

Chris Rose scored three goals for the service station representatives, while Mike Hawco supported the cause with a goal and an assist and Mackenzie Noseworthy picked up two helpers in a losing cause.

Meanwhile, Josh White was a potent weapon with three goals and five assists as Clancy’s Pub dumped Skinner’s Pharmacy 11-3 in the other league contest.

Brandon Keating and Dylan Noseworthy also had three-goal games for the winners, while Mike Batt chipped in with a two-goal outing.

Elvis Barron, Dwayne Young and Paul Gabriel replied for the pharmacy boys.

League action resumes Tuesday with Central Service Station tangling with Skinner’s Pharmacy at 8 p.m. and Clancy’s Pub battling Harvey Gale & Son at 9 p.m. at St. George’s Stadium.
