CORNER BROOK — A dominant force is probably an understatement.
The Corner Brook High Titans had an unblemished record in claiming gold at the 2012 Subway Sackville Kingfisher Classic Basketball Tournament held in Sackville, N.S. over the weekend.
Led by tournament Most Valuable Player Ryan Harnett, the Titans defeated its opponents by an average of 25 points in three-straight round-robin games before downing Prince Andrew Panthers 94-71 in the championship game Saturday at Sackville High gymnasium.
Harnett drained 30 points to lead the charge for the Titans in the gold-medal showdown.
Jordan Penney, player of the game in the final, threw in 25 for the Titans, while Adam Bursey drained 20 points and collected 12 rebounds. Jay Warford had a 12-point effort for the Titans.
Taurus Smith led the Panthers with 33 points.

Corner Brook Titans 110, Sackville High School Kingfishers 88
Ryan Harnett paved the way for the Titans with another 30-point performance on the hardwood.
Jay Warford and Adam Bursey threw in 17 points apiece, while Jordan Penney added 14 to the scoresheet.Rumelo Gough was the leading scorer for the Kingfishers with 30 points.
Corner Brook Titans 83, Central Kings Gators 60
Graham Kenney and Ryan Park had 12 points apiece for the Titans, while Harnett had 11.
Daniel Humber had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Titans.
Joe Canavan put up 17 points for the Kings, while Dylan Poole added 16.
Corner Brook Titans 100, North Hants Flames 69
Jordan Penney poured in 25 points for the Titans, while Harnett and Warford had 11 and Ryan Park threw in 11.
Colin McCulloch drained 19 for North Hants.
