CORNER BROOK  Mark Strickland poured in 19 points to help lift the Grenfell Campus Warriors to yet another win on Monday night.

The Warriors were defeated in their first Corner Brook Coors Light Men’s Basketball League game of the new year last week, but bounced back in a big way with a 92-52 victory over Ready Electric at the former Regina High School gymnasium.

Peter Rose picked up 17 points in the winning effort, while Andrew Smith amassed 16 points.

Rich Barry’s 14-point night led the way for the electric company, while Brandon McGraw and Kevin Farrell both scored 10 points apiece.

The late game between 74 Broadway Pub and Steers Insurance was marked down as a default win for the pub club, as the insurance squad didn’t have enough players to start the game.

The Warriors lead the league at 8-2 (.800), with the pub club in second place at 10-4 (.714). The insurance squad drops to third with a 7-4 (.636) mark, while the electric company is still searching for their first win of the season, dropping to 0-15.
