The Corner Brook men’s softball league will hold an open practice game to get players prepared for the 2014 season.

The open exhibition game, open to all players from last year’s rosters and those who would like to give it a try, are welcome to attend.

Players are asked to be on the field 2 p.m. Saturday for a short warm-up before the game gets underway at 2:30 p.m. at Fred Basha Memorial Park.

The league is expected to operate with three teams again this year and league representatives are expected to hear sometime next week if the provincial intermediate men’s softball championship will be staged in Corner Brook this summer.

Hope you get enough players out to get your league of the ground. Good luck.
