CORNER BROOK  Todd Mercer scored five goals to lead the Masters to a 9-7 victory over the Tactics Sunday at the Pepsi Studio.

Paul Christopher had a two-goal game for the Masters in the Corner Brook Molson Indoor Soccer League contest, while Vince Pickett and Liam Flynn added single markers to the scoresheet.

Doug Warren and Lance Ereaut had two-goal outings for the Tactics, while single tallies were added to the mix by John Patten, Ben Maynard and Adam Anderson.

In other action, Ed Traverse scored four times to lead West Side Monarchs Gold to a 7-6 triumph over Stephenville.

Tyler Lavers had a two-goal game for the Gold, while Pat Fewer booted home the other marker for the winners.

Tiuri Lomond had a three-goal game for the Stephenville entry, while single tallies were added to the scoresheet by Eric Flynn, David Alexander and Andrew Beattie.
