Nick Park struck in the 67th minute to help the Health and Performance Hawks stay undefeated early on in the Corner Brook Molson Senior Men’s Soccer League season.
Tyler Gallant recorded the Rangers’ goal in the matchup between rivals at Wellington Street Sports Complex Monday night.
Gallant’s goal came about a minute into injury time in the first half, sending the Rangers to the break up 1-0.
Park’s goal evened it with 23 minutes left to play.
Ryan Vaters was between the posts for the Hawks, while Zack Taylor tended the Rangers’ net.

West Side Monarchs 2, Stephenville 0
Former pro Bruce Grobbelaar and Steve Vardy shared the goose egg as the West Side Monarchs eked out a 2-0 win over Stephenville Sunday night at Wellington Street Sports Complex.
Taylor Lavers scored both goals for the Monarchs, denting the mesh at 58 minutes to open the scoring and adding some insurance with his second big kick of the night in the dying minutes of the game.
The Hawks are still undefeated this season, at 3-0-2, while the Rangers move to 1-0-3. The Monarchs check in at 1-0-2, ahead of the Investors Group Under-18s’ mark of 1-2-2. The Sorrento Tactics FC are 0-2-1, ahead of 0-2-0 Stephenville.
