Jill Lahey netted three goals on Monday night as the Island Othotics Curling Rangers bested the Health and Performance Physio Shamrocks by a converted touchdown.

Katie Arnott scored twice in the Corner Brook Women’s Soccer League triumph at Wellington Street Sports Complex, while Candace Lavallee and Emelie Foo each had single markers.

Ashley Preston recorded the clean sheet in the Rangers’ goal.

The following is a summary of the other league game on Monday night:

Under-18s 11, Hawks 0

Jade Regular scored three times, Myla Burt had a pair as the Under-18s picked apart the Shoppers West Hawks at Ambrose O’Reilly Memorial Pitch.

Danielle Carey, Carley Tanner, Emily Flynn, Jessica Gillingham, Felicia Park and Aimee Russell also scored for the victors.

The Under-18s are now 6-0-0 on the season, in first place, ahead of the Rangers and their mark of 6-1-0. Veitch’s Physio are in third at 2-3-0, with the Shamrocks behind them at 2-5-0. Clancy’s FC are 1-2-0, while the Hawks fall to 0-6-0.
