BMO Western earned a split against host Conception Bay South with a 2-0 victory in provincial Under-16 boys soccer league play Sunday morning.

Tanner Inder scored both goals for Western, his first goal at 38 minutes proving to be the game-winning goal. He dented the mesh at 65 minutes for insurance to give the western side a weekend split on the road.
On Saturday night, it was CBS keeper who took the spotlight as the host team eked out a 1-0 victory over Western.
Nick Austin turned aside all scoring chances to record the goose egg for the CBS squad.
Dylan Baird scored the game‚Äôs only goal.
BMO Western will be at home this weekend for a two-game showdown against the Metro United Football Club with games slated for Saturday 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. at Wellington Street Sports Complex.
