Two local men were weary but exhilarated after getting the opportunity to partake in the Mantracker television show filmed here last week.
The two were chosen from a field of applicants - not all from this province - vying for the chance to evade capture from Mantracker, a horse-riding human hunter.
The two had a head start and were given 36 hours to reach a finish line about 40 kilometres away without being caught by Mantracker and his sidekick, also a locally-chosen individual.
Fans of the show, which airs on the Outdoor Life Network, will have to wait until 2009 to find out if the two local prey made it to the finish line.
