Like having a new puppy, Andrew Peddle was a little caught off guard with how quickly his business grew.
The owner and operator of Western Pet Supply, which opened its doors on Main Street in Corner Brook last January, has found its current space can no longer contain it.
So, the plan is to move Western Pet Supply to a bigger space on Broadway. The new location will be in the former Canvas store across the street from the Broadway Mini-Mall.
“It’s blown up a little faster than we thought,” said Peddle. “I didn’t think we’d be where we are now for another two years or so.”
Peddle is aiming to get into the new location in time to open Jan. 2. He is also looking to expand, particularly in the range of aquatic pets.
The store on Main Street is still open for business as usual in the meantime.
