The Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker Terry Fox made its way to Corner Brook for a crew change Thursday.

Canada’s second-largest icebreaker had been trying to clear a path in the extremely heavy ice conditions in the Strait of Belle Isle to help the MV Apollo ferry leave the port of Blanc Sablon to make its crossing to the island of Newfoundland.
