Jennifer Pye and Sarah Noseworthy, students at Corner Brook Regional High School, were in the holiday spirit Friday when they visited seniors at Mountain View Retirement Home in Corner Brook.

The two girls made Christmas cards for the 98 residents at the home and delivered them Friday, while handing out candy canes along the way.

The girls spent about 24 hours making the cards for the residents. Resident Edith Lawrence received a card and candy cane in her room when the girls made their rounds and she was happy to share some of her Christmas memories with the two girls.
