Students at Stephenville Elementary wore their Pink Shirts for Stand Up Day and there were smiles all around.

That’s because students from the whole school took part in house team activities to celebrate the day, aimed at promoting kindness in their schools and communities.

Pink Shirt Day brings awareness to bullying and symbolizes bullying is not tolerated at home, at school or at work.

Michele Dawson, vice-principal, said students were eager to participate in the team activities and they all had fun participating.
