Grenfell Campus to celebrate Multiculturalism Week

The cultures that make up the Grenfell Campus community will be celebrated through discussion, performance and cuisine next week as the university celebrates Multiculturalism Week.

The week’s events include:

Tuesday, March 21

11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Multicultural craft fair in the arts and science atrium at Grenfell

6 p.m.

Panel discussion — Racial discrimination: What is the university’s role and how should we respond?

Room 328 in the Arts and Sciences Building at Grenfell

Wednesday, March 22

2-4 p.m.

Official opening of the Global Cultural Room in Chalet 2200 at Grenfell

Thursday, March 23

4:30 p.m.

Celebrate Multiculturalism Day and sample food from other countries at Colemans at the Gardens

7 p.m.

Films from Away showing of  “Dheepan” in Room 2026 of the Arts and Sciences Building at Grenfell

Saturday, March 25

7-9 p.m.

Multicultural show celebrating cultures and traditions from all over the world at the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre
