The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit – Newfoundland and Labrador (CFSEU-NL) — Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) is still looking for more victims of a convicted child lurer.
In August, the unit issued a news release asking the for the public’s assistance to identify victims of a man who had been exploiting children online from at least November 2015 to June 2016.
The news release noted the man had recently been convicted of child luring and possessing child pornography.

The release did not name the man, just that he was 65 and from Deer Lake.
In June, Oral Clarke pled guilty to the same charges in provincial court in Corner Brook and was sentenced to 20 months in prison. He had been living in St. Judes, just outside Deer Lake, at the time.
The release also indicated the suspect used the pseudonym Ammon Charlebois while online, which is the same name Clarke had used in his online interactions.
At the time police said a continuing investigation had revealed Clarke, a former businessman, was suspected to have been luring children online while pretending to be a teenaged boy. Investigators said it’s possible the victims may be unaware they had been victimized.
On Thursday, a spokesperson with the unit said that to his knowledge nobody had come forward as a result of the news release.
He said the investigation has not concluded and while there was nothing imminent that something could be released in the future.
