Ontario men charged with laundering, drug trafficking remain in custody

Jean Paul Mondoux and Andre Sequin will remain in custody for another few days.

The Ontario men were arrested last Thursday in connection with the seizure of 50 pounds of Canadian currency and five pounds of marijuana.

Both men appeared in provincial court in Corner Brook on Tuesday.

A bail hearing for Mondoux has been set for Friday and Seguin's will occur on Monday.

Charges against both men include trafficking a controlled drug or substance, laundering the proceeds of crime and possessing property obtained by crime.
