The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary say they have located Richard and Denise Lemire and ensured their safety and well-being.
Police issued a media release on Monday saying they were assisting the Vancouver Police Department in locating the couple who had arrived in the province on May 31, but had not been heard from since June 1.
The couple had rented a vehicle when they arrived and were supposed to make stops in Gros Morne National Park and St. Anthony.
Police provided no other details in an updated release issued Tuesday morning.

Richard and Denise Lemire arrived in the province on May 31 and rented a vehicle. They were last heard from on June 1.
Their family has made several attempts to contact the couple, but have been unsuccessful.
The couple is travelling by car and is supposed to make stops in the areas of Gros Morne National Park and St. Anthony.
Richard Lemire, 64, is described as being 5'8", 215 pounds with blue eyes and grey hair. Denise Lemire, 62, is described as being 5'3", 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
