Craig Clayton Pittman will find out today if he will be getting bail after his arrest a week ago as part of a police investigation into an armed robbery alleged to have taken place in April.

A bail hearing for Pittman, 34, started in provincial court in Corner Brook Wednesday, but never wrapped up until Thursday morning. Judge Wayne Gorman wanted time to make his decision, which he will render today.

Pittman is charged with robbery and being disguised with intent to commit an offence in relation to an armed robbery reported at the First Stop Convenience Store in Irishtown-Summerside the night of April 28.

Two other men were also arrested last week as part of the investigation.

Allan Sonny Pijogge, 27, was released to appear in provincial court July 22, while Mark George Childs, 38, was granted bail and will next appear in court July 29.
