Suspended driver in Corner Brook loses unregistered and uninsured vehicle

A 65-year-old Irishtown man had his vehicle impounded by police in Corner Brook Sunday.

Following a report from the public, a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary patrol stopped a vehicle on Old Humber Road. The north shore of the Bay of Islands man was charged with operating an uninsured and unregistered vehicle, and driving with a suspended licence.

The man was ticketed and released from police custody.
