Ontario man charged with impaired driving from rollover

A 68-year-old Cambridge, Ontario man was arrested and charged with impaired driving following a single vehicle rollover accident in Lourdes on Wednesday afternoon.

Cpl. Richard Basha of the Bay St. George RCMP said police received a report of the accident at 2:45 p.m. and after attending and carrying out an investigation, the charge was laid against the driver.

He was held in cells at the Bay St. George police detachment in Stephenville overnight and is to be released from custody today with a future court date.

Basha said the man registered breath samples over twice the legal limit.
