The bail hearing started in Stephenville Provincial Court on Monday afternoon but, due to a busy court docket that day, had to be extended to later in the week.

Cpl. Mike Reidpath of the Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP said a lengthy number of the charges against White stem from one incident, however they relate to a total four different incidents, with one charge from an occurrence in St. Andrews and several charges from matters in the Corner Brook area.

White faces a total of 27 charges, 13 of which are firearms related offences. Included in those are three charges of careless use of a firearm, another of carrying a concealed weapon and another of carelessly using a firearm or ammunition.

Other charges include: three assaults, two mischief relating to property and nine of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
