A man was found with a serious head wound near the elevator in the Greenwood Inn and Suites parking garage in Corner Brook Wednesday evening.

The young adult was transported to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment after the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and paramedics from Western Health responded to the scene at around 9:30 p.m.

The police investigation determined, via the hotel’s surveillance cameras, that the man’s injury had been caused when he fell down as he approached the elevator area of the parking garage.
