Two youth were charged in separate incidents in the Townsite area of Corner Brook in the last few days.

Early Wednesday afternoon, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a disturbance at a home and charged a 12-year-old boy with assaulting a 22-year-old woman known to him. The woman was not hurt and the boy was released to appear in youth court in September.
On Thursday night, the RNC responded to another disturbance and charged a 16-year-old boy with mischief to property, uttering threats to cause damage to property and uttering threats to kill.
He was held in custody until a court appearance Friday, after which he was also released to appear at a later date.
