While some residents of Humber Arm South have voiced their displeasure with the new location of new mailboxes in the community of Benoit’s Cove, Canada Post says it has not received any complaints directly.

The boxes were recently relocated at the request of the town and a resident who felt the former location was inappropriate. The town is willing to hear any complaints from residents about the new site at a public town council meeting Nov. 14, but noted it is Canada Post and not the municipality that ultimately decides if the boxes should be moved again.

Canada Post said any residents with concerns should call the corporation’s customer service line at 1-866-607-6301.
