The man reported the incident to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary at 11:54 p.m.

He told police that he was hit by a vehicle at 6:45 p.m. while clearing snow from a driveway. Police say the man didn’t report any injuries.

Const. Shawn Park, the RNC’s media relations officer, said the report states that slippery road conditions are believed to be a factor. She said the man spoke with the driver of the vehicle at the time and the investigation is ongoing.

Park said whether or not charges will be laid will be determined once the investigation is completed.
