A Cox’s Cove man charged with drunk driving causing bodily harm has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

Katlin Dean Payne, 29, was charged with four offences in November in relation to an accident that took place in the town of Irishtown-Summerside on the north shore of the Bay of Islands last Aug. 4.
The charges are impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, impaired operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm while exceeding the legal limit of alcohol, dangerous driving causing bodily harm and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
He also has a fifth charge for allegedly violating a court order.
He was not present in provincial court in Corner Brook when his matters were called Tuesday morning. His lawyer, Rosellen Sullivan, who appeared via telephone, entered not guilty pleas to all charges.
A five-day trial has been scheduled for July 16-20.
