The opening of the school, which will bring together students from both the former Humber Elementary School and St. Gerard’s School, was delayed, as there is still a little more work to do both outside and inside the former G.C. Rowe Junior High School building. The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District has says the school will finally welcome its new students Friday.
